No metallic tools are rust proof since salts in aquarium environments will over time corode and rust even the highest grade stainless steel. JBL uses high-grade Japanese stainless steel which is highly corrosion resistant and acid-proof. This steel if further shaped using high precision cutting in Japan for some of the highest quality aquascaping tools on the market.

To ensure the longevity of all JBL tools we recommend you promptly rinse under tap water and dry after use.
